Project overview

Educational content has one job before anything else: someone should be able to follow it.

That sounds simple, but teaching on camera involves more than recording someone delivering information. The pacing, demonstrations, camera angles, supporting visuals and way the material is broken down all affect whether someone understands what they are being shown and stays engaged long enough to learn it.

We approach educational production around the information first. What does the viewer need to see? When do they need a closer look? What should be demonstrated instead of explained? Where can the production make something easier to understand?

For courses, workshops, demonstrations and training libraries, we build a visual system around the material so the production supports the teaching instead of getting in its way.

How we approach it

  • Understand the lessonWe start with what the viewer needs to learn before deciding how the production should look.
  • Show what needs to be seenCamera angles, demonstrations and supporting visuals are chosen around clarity.
  • Keep it easy to followThe production should support the teaching without becoming a distraction from it.
