Music + Performance

Live Sessions • Concerts • Artist Performances • Performance Films

Project overview

A live performance is more than a song being played in front of a camera. It is the energy between the artists, the movement in the room, the quiet moments between sections and the details that make one performance feel completely different from another.

We approach music production by listening first. Camera placement, movement, lighting and coverage are built around the performance itself so the visuals feel connected to the rhythm instead of simply recording it from a distance.

Whether it is a live studio session, acoustic set, full band performance or concert, the goal is to preserve what made that particular performance worth being in the room for.

How we approach it

  • Listen firstWe learn the rhythm and structure of the performance before deciding how the cameras should cover it.
  • Follow the energyWide frames, close details and movement are built around what the artist is doing in the moment.
  • Let the edit feel musicalThe visuals should move with the performance rather than simply cutting between cameras.
